This Sort Them Ducks egg locations page is the list for all 10 secret eggs. Collect them, then hatch a duck for Egg-cellent Timing. Sort Them Ducks hides most of them in the shop and several inside the office — not in the 4,010 rubber-duck pile. Verified August 17, 2026 · Steam.
| # | Landmark | Where to look |
|---|---|---|

Egg-cellent Timing is one of the 20 Steam achievements for Sort Them Ducks. It is not a random drop from sorting. You physically find ten hidden eggs around the shop and office, then hatch a duck. Developer Mr.Duck did not put a map marker on them.
The 4,010 unique ducks are the sorting job. Secret eggs are a separate collectable. Do not expect the HUD duck counter to tick when you pick an egg up. If your sorted count is stuck, that is usually a missing duck or a bomb clip — see troubleshooting — not a missing egg.
Community guides treat the hatch as a single step after all ten are in. Do not abandon a 9/10 search to farm ducks. Grab the last office hide, then hatch.
Once you know why the list exists, walk the shop landmarks in the next section instead of circling the same floor pile.
Five of the ten live in the main shop. A dedicated hunt clip walks QuackPOT first, then the gap between shelf sets, then several visual-only grabs. Locations below are the community-consensus map used by achievement writeups.

| Egg | Search cue | Easy to miss because |
|---|---|---|
| QuackPOT | Stand at the slot machine and look beside it | You came to gamble, not to loot the floor |
| Register chair | Chair in front of the cash register | Looks like furniture, not a collectable |
| Animal / Music gap | Walk the aisle between those two shelves | Wedged between the two shelf sets |
| Centurion arm | Warrior area, on the Centurion duck | On a displayed duck, not the floor |
| Cowboy top | Look up at the Cowboy shelf | Above eye line in first person |
Egg 1 is the landmark everyone films first: beside the slot machine. While you are there, mash the cash register for Sticky Fingers — community guides say 10 taps for about $20. A hunt clip says 20; take the in-game payout over the narration. That is an achievement, not an egg, but it is the same corner of the shop.
Egg 5 sits on top of the Cowboy shelf. If your hunt is stuck at 9/10 and you never crouched or looked up, go here before you re-sweep the office. A hunt clip also calls out at least one egg “up high” after missing it on a floor pass.
Shop five done, walk to the office door. The remaining five are a different kind of hide.
The office is a small room with dense hides: behind the door, on the desk, inside a shelving unit, inside the lamp, then the plant just outside. This is where Sort Them Ducks egg locations searches actually stall.

Lamp, plant, and shelving unit are not floor pickups. If you only grab what glints on the carpet you will leave with 7/10 and a wrong assumption that the list is outdated.
Egg 6 is behind the office door. Interact with the door, then look at the hinge side / back face before you walk to the desk. Players who sprint to the lamp first often skip this hide.
With all ten, hatch. If the achievement does not fire, you are missing a hatch step, not an eleventh egg.
Run one lap, not ten. Start at machines you already visit for upgrades, then shelves, then office, then plant.
| Stop | Eggs | Why this order |
|---|---|---|
| 1. QuackPOT + register | 1–2 | You already walk here to spend cash |
| 2. Animal / Music aisle | 3 | On the way toward warriors |
| 3. Centurion + Cowboy | 4–5 | Warrior then cowboy cluster; look up |
| 4. Office interior | 6–9 | Door, desk, shelf, lamp in that sequence |
| 5. Plant outside | 10 | Last so the interior hides are not skipped |
Nothing about Egg-cellent Timing requires a full sort. Grab the ten whenever you pass the landmarks. Waiting until Master Sorter just means a bored second tour.
If the lap still ends short, the next section is the miss list.
Community miss reports cluster on four hides. Revisit these before you assume a patch moved the list.
| If you are missing… | Check |
|---|---|
| A “floor” egg you walked past | Animal/Music gap — wedged, awkward to grab |
| Anything “up” | Cowboy shelf top, Centurion arm |
| An office egg | Lamp interior, shelving unit, behind the door |
| The last one after a full office sweep | Plant outside the office |
Players report a respawn recovery for buried or clipped ducks. That does not print a new secret egg. If your egg count is 9, you missed a hide.
Go back to achievements for the rest of 100%, or troubleshooting if a rubber duck (not an egg) is the thing actually missing from the HUD.
Ten. Egg-cellent Timing needs all ten, then a hatch.
No. Secret eggs are a separate collectable from the unique rubber ducks you sort onto shelves.
Treat the table as community-observed. If a hide is empty, check the miss list first, then Steam news, before assuming the list is wrong.
No official marker. Use the landmark table on this page.
Any time you pass QuackPOT and the office. You do not need to finish the shop first.
